Q: How do service providers sign up for ChemVM?

A: You can join online here. Upon signing up, you will receive an email with a personal access link to create your company’s profile including its locations, services capabilities, permits and certifications and other relevant information. This is all that is required to begin receiving leads.

Q: What is the cost for service providers to join ChemVM?

A: There is no cost to join ChemVM.

Q: Can I receive leads from ChemVM without signing a contract?

A: Yes. However, identifying information we share between parties will be restricted until a contract with ChemVM is in place.

Q: What can I do to increase the number and quality of leads I receive from ChemVM?

A: To get the best results from ChemVM, you should schedule a profiling session with us. This ensures we have the most accurate and current profile of your services capabilities and the characteristics of your ideal project.

Q: What is a profiling session and why do I need it?

A: Think of it as a capabilities interview. It lasts about an hour and we ask questions about your services capabilities and the characteristics of your ideal project so we can send you the best-fit leads matched to your business and not bother you with ones you can’t do or don’t want.

Q: How do I schedule a profiling session?

A: You can schedule your profiling session online here. Once you register, we’ll email you to schedule a profiling session.

Q: How does ChemVM make money? 

A: When a customer signs a contract with a registered ChemVM service provider, we make a small commission. 

Q: What is the difference between “joining” and “registering” with ChemVM?

A: When you join, you can immediately start receiving leads – there is no cost. To secure a new project and speak directly with a customer, you will need to register by signing a contract.

Q: Once I receive a lead from ChemVM, can I discuss specifics of the project directly with the customer?

A: Yes. As soon as you register, we put you in direct contact with the customer.

Q: When does ChemVM get paid?

A: ChemVM invoices the service provider and receives payment after the service provider is paid by the customer. 

Q: What is the duration of the ChemVM commission fees?

A: ChemVM makes a commission on the duration of contracts generated through our system. 

Q: Do ChemVM fees vary by service? 

A: We recognize different projects have different margins and we set our fees accordingly. 

Q: Is there a cap on transaction fees?

A: Our standards terms do not include a cap on ChemVM fees. However, some projects may warrant further discussion. 

Q: Does the customer pay a fee as well?

A: No. Customers can access the site, submit their projects and benefit from the ChemVM matching system at no charge.

Q: What if ChemVM brings me a project that is from one of my existing customers?

A: We make a commission on all projects sourced from ChemVM. 

Q: How many suppliers does ChemVM work with?

A: Our database currently includes over 700 chemical service providers and is growing daily.

Q: I heard ChemVM has a leads referral program. Why would I want to join that?

A: The ChemVM Affiliate Program compensates you for referring leads you reject. This way, you build goodwill with the customer by being helpful, the customer finds a service provider, and we do our job of making the match. It’s a Win-Win-Win!

Q: How do I get compensated for leads I send to ChemVM?

A: Compensation comes in two forms. First, you receive a discount on future ChemVM fees based on how many leads you’ve referred (no matter their outcome). Second, we give you a percent of our commission fee on leads you refer that we match.
